Celestial Rose

 

This ring is based on an illumination of unknown author, which I found when doing a bit of research on roses in art. The image is from a 15th century version of Dante’s The Divine Comedy and it depicts his vision of Heaven -  a white rose with a golden core, of which each petal is a soul in ascension.
